In my experience as an e-learning teacher, students have few problems learning this using this method.
I am able to answer their questions just by re-reading the text (typical of students everywhere, they don’t always read carefully or re-read) of the instructions.I have little experience or knowledge of Simply Accounting myself, so if I can do it, anybody can.
Activities follow along in a logical order, providing practice as the students move through the activities.Instructions are step-by-step:
One of my online students was hired by a local bookkeeper in his community based on his knowledge of Simply Accounting, spreadsheets, and accounting having taken the online Accounting course!
The bookkeeper/accountant was thrilled to hire my student and he was thrilled to get the position since it provided him with additional training to assist with simple bookkeeping and tax preparation.
I provide this information as evidence that students can teach themselves using the e-learning materials available to all of us in Ontario.
